It is well known that the Samsung Galaxy S III is the top selling smartphone from the South Korean mobile manufacturer, Samsung mobiles. There was no other smartphone stood competitively with this impressive smartphone in this segment. Now, the Apple has finally unwrapped the covers of its sixth iPhone and named it as Apple iPhone 5. The device is currently available for preoreder on Apple official sites and comes with new design and hardware to give a great competition to its closest rival, Galaxy S III. The Apple iPhone is one of the best in the class in terms of its bigger display, faster processor, LG LTE network support and all the other new applications. Currently, the Apple iPhone 5 price and launch in the country is still a mystery and the Apple fans should wait for some time. But as per the source report, the price of the new beast will be more when compared to the Samsung Galaxy S III price that is to be Rs 34,900.
The Samsung's smartphone has earlier showcased on May 3 in London this year. The device will carry a 4.8 inches HD Super AMOLED display built using the Corning Gorilla Glass 2 which supports a screen resolution of 1280 x 780 pixels and has 302 pixels per inch pixel density. The display ensures a TouchWiz user interface which is making this smartphone versatile and easy to use. The Apple mobiles has done many up-gradations regarding the display and the screen resolution when compared to the other iPhone models. The iPhone 5 will sport with a 4-inch Retina display which is based on the LCD IPS panel technology which is having a 1136 x 640 pixels of screen resolution and 326 pixels per inch of pixel density. For the consumers who are interesting in reading text and watching movies, it is better to prefer for the Samsung's device.
Physically, the Apple's device is quite thinner and lighter with dimensions of 123.8 x 58.5 mm, whereas the the Samsung's S III will measure at 136.6 x 70.6 mm. In terms of performance, the Apple iPhone 5 stands better as it runs with the Apple sixth generation iOS 6 and powered with a dual-core ARM Cortex A15 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz speed. To ensure better graphics the Apple phone is enabled with PowerVR SGX 6200MP2, a dual-core graphics chip. The Galaxy S III is incorporated with a quad-core 1.4 GHz Exynos 4 Quad 4412 mobile processor supporting with a ARM Cortex-A9 mobile chipset. Both the devices will be enabled with an additional 1GB of RAM memory to ensure better performance. The two smartphones offer built-in GPS, Assisted GPS and also support for the GLONASS satellites network mesh maintained by the Russian government. The smartphones also features with Bluetooth 4.0 and the Galaxy S III only has the Near Field Communication chip. In short, iphones have ios whereas galaxy phones have Android os.
