China Times reports that currently, Apple is working on the new touchscreen technology Chimei Innolux for the Next generation iPhone. Chimei Innolux is a Taiwanese company and the new technology on which Apple is working is touch-on-display technology. As it was rumoured early, this iPhone will be using IGZO display technology. This iPhone will named as iPhone 5S as per the iPhone serial. The new technology gives strong emphasis on making the display as thin as possible similar to one in iPhone 5 which is In-cell touch technology used by Apple.
The company is changing the technology because iPhone 5 has issues of getting a glitch while scrolling, i.e, if one tries to swing his finger to and fro quickly for scrolling the display stops accepting the commands. The Touch On Display being thin and reliable is going to be better than In Cell touch displays. Apple iPhone 5S features are still to come to knowledge although rumours of having iPhone in different colours seems to be a totally new experience for iPhone users. As iPod touch comes in multiple colours, inspiring from it, the new iPhone 5S is going to come in blue, yellow, pink and silver. The handset will be available in several screen sizes. The screens being of different sizes will make it an advantage that if the size is small relatively the price will reduce and it will increase the number of buyers.
Although rumours state that iPhone will be running the successor of iOS6 which is iOS7. It can also be possibly available with NFC support.
