The company has been installing LCD panels in this phone and might put a retina display in it. But retina display have to be purchased from another company with which Apple had lawsuit issues. This would not effect the buyer at all as the phone is already out for sale. There are many other companies that are still selling their devices at a very high cost. That might be the reason that people have started to purchase Apple devices in India.

The pixel count as per the display size is 162 pixels per inch. Even though the size of the handset and screen is large the weight is not too much. The device weighs around 308 grams which is not too high. Since the device is light it may slip out of the hand.
